It's not true that gamblers don't get respect, every different place has different people with different opinions. Some prefer that you shouldn't gamble, if you hide your activities at such places then there's no harm to your respect but if one knows, he/she will spread this in the society and then you may be seen as a "not-to-hangout-with" type of a person. And yeah, nobody in this world can master gambling (except if they are too good on a specific game and have great knowledge about it), so thinking about yourself to be the master of gambling will make you lose big in the end.

thats not true .  depend only if what kind of addict you are and if what kind of people judging you    . if your are raging due to addiction and you are harming the environment well you cant get respect but if your only silent with your hobby no one will get angry with you  .

pro gamblers are different from the gamblers that spend all the time in a gambling arena because pro gamblers have  adequate time of resting and they dont bust thier own money but they have sponsorships  .  but it also takes alot of practice to develop a gambling skill , is it necisary for you to spend the whole day and night on a gambling arena ,  just to become good   .

Good motive but wont still be useless because gamblers in mind specially to those who do think on making money will surely find a way to gamble not with fun token but with real money.

It is true that when you are already addicted, it is hard to escape by only yourself. You really need to seek help from other people that will really help you to overcome addiction in gambling.
