When the Bitcoin network was recently flooded with dubious and high numbers of strange transactions was there any evidence to point towards someone or some group?
During the time all this spamming was going on the case for Bitcoin Cash was being made by certain whales so it seems people concluded that maybe the people or group that wanted to create the fork might use the existing network as 'not suitable for purpose' therefore maybe they had the most to gain from the fork therefore maybe they may have been behind the spamming. One reason cited for the creation of BCH was that the network was clogged so hey presto Bitcoin Cash was justified by its creators.
I am not saying for sure who it was because I do not know but when one particular group of people stand to gain phenomenal amounts of wealth at the predicament of another then usually the ones that have most to gain are looked upon suspiciously as they are the obvious benefactors.
Was there ever any evidence pointing to those behind the spam attacks?
