I am having an issue with cgminer on 12.10. I get the following when doing a cgminer -n

Quote
cgminer -n --gpu-platform 0
[2013-11-24 13:05:43] Error -1001: clGetPlatformsIDs failed (no OpenCL SDK installed?)
[2013-11-24 13:05:43] clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable
 [2013-11-24 13:05:43] 0 GPU devices max detected
[2013-11-24 13:05:43] USB all: found 10 devices - listing known devices
[2013-11-24 13:05:43] No known USB devices

cgminer doesn't support GPU mining any more.  As you didn't say which version of cgminer you're using, I can only assume that's your issue.

Im using an older 3.1.3045 from the ppa repo. I am sad to see cgminer go.
