If you want to earn good profits buy bitcoins now and forget them for a month or 2. Another ride is coming soon and you wont be able to buy bitcoins at more cheap prices.

Yes 800$ is pretty cheap, and people used to say same thing, when bitcoin was at 250$ in april, look where it is now. If you are a day trader it might be costly for you but if you do it for long term its really cheaper.

i figure sooner or later a major retailer/chain will start accepting bitcoin, especially considering all the attention it's getting now. the roller coaster ride is going to get more turbulent, so be prepared.

Richard Branson accepting it is a step in the right direction. Let's hope he'll start accepting it as well for Virgin Airlines and Virgin Media. How awesome would it be being able to buy blurays, cd's or even plaintickets with bitcoin. Let's hope more (big) companies will follow his example. i'm more bullish on newegg accepting BTC. it makes sense for them since VISA/paypal/et al charge them something like 2-3%.. and to top it off, lots of BTC holders are techies/nerds, so a lot of BTC would be spent there.

Taking a break from the Troll Box on BTC-E? What makes you so confident? Well, let's see. It's gone up 10x every year so far, so yeah, we must be idiots to think that it might do it again this year.

We are headed to $5000 by summer and $10,000 by fall 2014. Yeah I would say definitely don't sell because it would be one of the dumbest mistakes of your life. Keep your coins and only spend them if you have no better option. You have to eat food and pay bills, but you don't need a new car.

$900 is looking more and more like our new $266. Add the negative news from China and I'd say it's going to be an interesting week.

Word of advice - less looking at the minute or 5-minute candles will help you have your coins for longer. Limit yourself to dailys, then once you live past a crash you can look at hourlies, if you still didn't panic sell at the bottom.

You may sell 2 coins for $600 total profit, not bad. Not sure about the third one...

You may sell 2 coins for $600 total profit, not bad. Not sure about the third one... 600$ Profit? He paid 1820$ total, selling 2@ 820$ equals 180$ for the remaining bitcoin. He can take 600$ profit, if he sells all coins. Would not advise that. But 180$ per Bitcoin is a decent price.

No one is investing in cash I hope, you need cash just to be able to buy stuff or invest in something more reliable (land, gold). No need to blame anybody for converting Bitcoins into cash...

Just Hope Wallmart or Amazon start accepting BTC. If only 1 of them was 'brave' enough to take that step. I think it would be a huge boost for their sales if Amazon, for example, started to accept bitcoin. It would only be a matter of time before other big companies follow their example. That's really unlikely to happen. Amazon has their own payment service, why would they accept BTC which is pretty much in direct competition with their payment service? As far as walmart goes....It's walmart... I'd say tigerdirect or newegg would accept BTC before anyone else.

FYI, it's not QUITE the same, but Gyft sells Amazon gift cards for Bitcoin at an exchange rate that is comparable to Coinbase. It's a good service, never had any issues with it.
