Fully agree with your suggestion, but unfortunately, these suggestions have been mentioned many times by numerous bounty hunters, but there is no bounty manager to care for them, and those unscrupulous devs often change rules freely without any punishment!

I dont know what sort of campaigns you had been participating in, but most of the reputed bounty managers clearly mention when the campaign would end. Whether it is Sylon, or Yahoo, or even atriz, they inform you beforehand.
At times the manager himself doesn't know when campaign would end since they wait for response from marketing team who evaluate the current going campaign. In such a case the manager cannot commit a wrong date and hence doesn't comment. Such things are out of his control.

I agree with your suggestions....expecially for 2nd point....  also I don't understand why some bounty manger (not the most popular which are skilled and expert) don't write clearly start and end date of each week..mayber the bounty starts on wednesday but for first week the period is till sunday...it's confusing in this cases..

It's pretty easy to find the end of the bounty campaigns as most of them will end with the ICO public sale and most of the reputable managers here will always include the end dates of the bounty in a certain format like it will run 4 or 8 weeks you should read the thread carefully as you may miss the information always make reading and researching your habit and as for the KYC issues, some managers will post the requirement at the beginning of the campaign and some will not so it is always important to ask directly to the managers or to the official telegram group.

not all bounty managers write about it. but in my experience usually bounty ends according to the duration of ICO's.
bounty ends when ICO ends. but not all bounty is also like that, there are also some who only running for a few weeks from his ICO.

I did many twitter campaigns and for many bounty managers I have the same problems:

1) I have to spend a lot of time to know when the campaign will finish -> why you just don't make a RED text in first message on TOP saying " BOUNTY FINISH AT...." ?
2) I have to spend a lot of time when the campaing has finished to know if I have to do something (Like making KYC or filling a final form etc...) -> why can't you ask this information when we joined the bounty?

So please take my advices..... as bounty managers ask us to follow the rules, please try to make our job more faster and easier as you can...

Even if it is stated in RED, for the fact that you are running different campaigns simultaneously you will still be confused as to when one of the campaigns ends. What I do is to create a whatsapp group for each campaign I run, then I add all the details needed for the campaign including the end date. These method will make it easier for you to run as many campaigns as possible simultaneously.

yeah. but most of the good managers add weeks on end of the bounty post. Because of they can extend it easily if project developers decided to extend bounty program. But many of guys do not mention clearly about KYC process otherwise participants didn't ask it directly. I also saw that fault. Some of the managers mention it if projects request it directly. But hope it's good if they post it required or not directly on bounty post. This is a good post to all of the bounty managers.

I have my propositions:

1. Why not implement google form for tracking FB and twitter bounties? If you care about cut spam here and reduce hostility towards bounty hunters.
2. Don't ask to reply to bounty and ANN threads with some stupid messages, use google forms as well.

But nobody will hear me because they interested in bumping those threads at any cost.

It actually depends from a bounty manager. A good bounty manager usually specify all this information in the topic post. So all you need is just read the rules and follow them. And also the best way to find all the answers about the bounty is to ask in a telegram group.

For you to do the bounty of a ICO project means you are also supporting it to be successful. Some changes of rules can occur in between the campaign and it is your duty as the bounty hunter to keep yourself updated about the changes.

The bold part actually got my attention and because they know the turnout would be lower if they had asked for the KYCs at the beginning and they know that it would be difficult for someone who has painstakingly do the promotion for 8 weeks then have to wait for another 4 weeks after the ICO or preICO before receiving his payment would have no other option than to fill the KYC or else he losses his pay. Another part that really annoys me is telling people to always quote the last weeks report to submit the current week what's wrong wrong wit editing the application and post your work done. You then see bounty threads getting to over hindered on what that shouldn't go beyond 30.

I do agree with you. Lack of information is confusing and it makes us waste our time. The rules must be clear and mentioned on the first page. Sometimes they write other pages of the bounty thread and we miss it. We cant check all the pages if there is a news. You spend too much time to learn it.

Managers often complicate the work of bounty hunters, but I believe that a manager's job is harder because he has a lot of responsibility.
should be mutually supportive and managers must respond to questions from participants. this will be a good medium to continue to provide convenience.

There are still some approachable bounty managers that listen to bounty hunters suggestions...but many of them already taken to the moon by their EGO..they should start to realize that bounty hunters are the most potential investors of all projects because they are the one doing REAL research more than those investors that just saw the project post on social media..

I agree with this one..bounty/community manager should be approachable and easy to talk with..I remember talking with a CEO and developers of one project, they are very respectful and treat all members of the chat group equally (bounty/investors)..thats the kind of attitude everyone should follow..

In here the dev are the boss, so if you wanna get paid do what the boss said. Easy right ?

The bounty manager just do their job, counting them. The dev are the problem dude, you can't blame the bounty manager, and you are free to join if you can what they do just let it, you have spent your time ? yap that was a risk, just feel it.

And if you wanna profit from ico, please join the Whitelist by buying their tokens.

sometimes they really add it in the first page of bounty thread. but not all managers do the same so you need to update your self and read all the last  post in the bounty thread you join to know.  its your job to do so i dont see reason why you are complaining besides it can easily find it before you post your report read the thread and you will see update.

When you join a campaign, you need to follow the topic regularly. You also need to track the manager's article and review the first page of the campaign topic.

I have same problem, when you ask it in the thread you seldom receive replies, and in telegram channel they don’t give direct answers but not all.
The thing is, we need only ask them and be patient. Even theu themselves may or may not know if ICO would end as planned or would drag longer.
Due to considerations and issues that may aris from investors, and I mean big time investors.
