Hi,

Is there something like a saving account with bitcoins? Is it safe? References and links are very welcome.

Thanks.

He meant something like a savings account you would have in real life, where you deposit money and is given interest per month / year.

There has been a few, but most are seen as ponzi schemes. I wouldn't really trust those sites either. The best thing to do is to keep it with yourself and hope that the price of BTC increases, so that you'll be getting "interest" from the rising prices!

This.  Keep them safe in your wallet and wait for price increase.

Why do you need to save them in a bank?

So far ever "bank" has been either an outright scam or has been hacked into and had most of the BTC taken.

So far banking has not worked in Bitcoinland.

I lost thousands of BTC in a "bank" that turned out to be just a Ponzi scheme.

Never give your BTC to anyone unless you never want to see them again.  Now that may be exactly what you want to do like when you purchase something from a reputable vendor but generally take resposibility for your money.  That is what Bitcoin is all about!

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!
