Does the computer that you sent to have connections and all 108070 blocks?

edit: The image did not appear for me before, I see now that you don't have all the blocks. Since the transaction is recorded in a recent block, you'll have to wait until you have nearly all the blocks in order to see it. The money is not gone, just not visible to your client that has an incomplete chain.

Ifthe computer you sent the coins to has only installed bitcoin for the first time it may take one or two days for the payment to show.

This is because the block needs to be downloaded first, once this is done your payment should show, typically its within a few minutes of sending, sometimes longer.

Your second client hasn't downloaded all the blocks yet (according to the screen snapshot).

When it has, it will be able to verify that the send transaction is valid, and will update your balance there.

How often do you get the chance to work on a potentially world-changing project?

What do you mean by that? You mean that they stay in the list? You don't like seeing your transaction history?
