Your speculation lacks too many bases and it seems to only be based on your feelings about eth, instead of your knowledge because as you said, eth solved a lot of problems but it still didn't have the first pumps, it still moved at low speed, sometimes still falling, so if we consider in the long run, $2500 really is unfounded to achieve. However, this is the current situation, this can still change when eth builds the first conditions for development and achieving this price, that could be good news and a pump enough to pull eth over $500

Ethereum reaching $2500 is possible, but it isn't possible to be achieved with some deadlines or within specific time limits. As of now the growth of ethereum isn't at the right track. It is to grow big, by this time it should've crossed $500 with regard to the growth that bitcoin has reached. yes it's only a matter of time because in the end every coin will surely experience a shocking growth that might reach a new ATH next year, we really don't know for sure but when we realize this is only a matter of time then at least we will be more patient and not need to question why and what makes growth slow

be patient, analyze and pay attention to the market moves. that's what we can see. now ethereum is falling back with bitcoin which is experiencing a huge decline. sell and wait down again. or hold back until later it rises again.

The goal of $2,500 per ETH may not be that far than we've thought. Most recently, the Ethereum project has announced that it will be adopting the next big upgrade for its Blockchain by 2020. Once this happens, then there's a possibility that prices will skyrocket across the market because of FOMO within people in the mainstream world. As such, it's necessary to obtain as much Ethereum as we can while it's still a PoW cryptocurrency.

The opportunity is now for us to grab ETH at the cheapest prices possible. Knowing that Bitcoin's uptrend in price across the market, greatly benefits other altcoins as well, is an indicator that Ethereum will follow BTC's footsteps. Still though, no one can predict with certainty what will happen in the future (as you've said before). But, investing in small increments at a slow pace, would allow you to stay safe in the game.

Nonetheless, Ethereum might reach $2,500 and beyond within the not-so-distant future. All we need to do is to be patient, and hodl it to obtain greater results by then. That's correct. ETH seems to follow BTC's price movement across the market, just like any other altcoin in existence today. But, I believe that the main trigger of prices will be the shift from Ethereum 1.0 to Ethereum 2.0. The much-awaited Casper PoS upgrade, will cause a lot of FOMO across the market once implemented by the devs. As a result, prices will increase massively for each ETH coin.

In the meantime, Ethereum's prices will be at a slow and steady rate. If Bitcoin continues to rise at a slow pace, then we might expect ETH to be worth around $500 per coin by the end of the year. Still, the target of $2,500 is not that far from becoming a reality. Given the circumstances, it could take a few years from now before ETH hits new All-time-highs.

Nonetheless, by investing into ETH now, you can greatly profit once it reaches $2,500 and above. The opportunity may not last that long, as people are realizing the true potential of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Hence, buying and hodling ETH is what matters now. Just my opinion

There is no specific year of when it possibly happen but still chances are big enough that it will reach 2500USD because as for me crypto currency is full of opportunity to earn more profit as long as we keep our perseverance and patience and above all learn the strategys how to make profit while still market is at down.

even an increase above $ 1k has become a very good development for ETH. it's just that, the decline in bitcoin makes ETH prices also fall. I think, it's not easy to see ETH prices above that price. however, at this time we can only hope that it will happen.
