I used to own a small town video store and rented DVDs to friendly customers.
I then tried investing in the DVD Kiosk business in the same region and time Redbox started.
Redbox won and now I'm kicking myself for not selling my 2500+ DVDs when BTC was $10.

Hind site sucks!

Does anyone else have those feelings?

I was going to buy 10 bitcoins at $55 USD, but instead I decided to invest in stupid bitchin paid to blick websites.  One of the dumbest investments I've made online.  Ever.

Sadly, I saw Bitcoin at $3 and told a friend to empty their bank savings account and buy BTC.  Sad
The friend didn't take my advice and I didn't have any savings to speak but a ton of DVDs.

My wife and children are really mad at me for not being millionaires now.
But, I think I'll still sell my DVD.  Smiley

is buying dvds at all ever a good investment? someone gave me abox of their junk dvds.. i sold 1/3rd of them for $25. and then the other 2/3rd i couldn't sell so i just dumped them.

DVDs just take up more space and depreciate in value over time.. i don't think i've ever bought a DVD movie.

I remember when i first heard of it I thought it was something illegal and bad and absolutely not worth touching with a 10foot pole.

Criterions tend to hold their resale value pretty well.

And if they go out of print, lookout! You can get $300 for an OOP Criterion DVD or Blu-ray you paid $30 for.

I know what you mean.  I started converting them into digital formats and using media players instead.
