Hi everyone,

I am offering a bounty - or even rather a payment - for someone who puts together a web service similar to btcpos.com with minor additions. Please PM me if you feel able and willing to help me with that. Bounty offered is 0.5BTC but i am willing to negotiate price if necessary. I am also open to make escrow upon agreement, i don't want to run away without payment.
Please PM me if you're interested and i'll roughly summarize to major requirements.

For 0.5 BTC you are looking for a complete rip-off site with a broken backend done by a guy that thinks he has some clue about bitcoin. Just saying, you know.. just in case you are interested in not fucking up anyone that might use this thing you are attempting to buy.

Hi,

thanks for your reply. Maybe I was not clear enough, sorry for that. I am not trying rip-off anyone. I am operating a canteen in an office building of an IT company in Eastern Europe (with no EUR but local currency) where i plan to accept bitcoins. I can' afford to completely redesign the cash register system and implement BTC payment into it but looking for an easy in-house solution which works on an internet-connected device. All i need is a lightweight service which allows the cashier personal to type in the total amount in local currency, then gets a QR-code with the recipient address and amount coded in, hands it to the customer which makes a transaction and that's it.
No complications or critical services are needed to be implemented. Not even confirmations have to be checked in real-time. Our customers are the employees of the office building, always the same people, there are no real high risks involved.
As a backend all i need is one admin account which can set a) the different addresses (to be changed daily, there is no real need for each tx -» different addresss) and b) the actual exchange rate (which will be set daily and will not follow real-time prices). At this point this is rather an interesting addition to the canteens features, i definitely do not expect too many transactions.

In addition: no wallet operations or anything similar has to be done, the transaction runs outside of this service, this is rather only a 'show-me-how-much-i-have-to-pay-and-where-to-send-the-btc' application with a lightweight backend (set address and exchange rate by admin). All other necessary analytics can be done and will be done in the receiving wallet app.

Hope it's understandable now, if not please ask anything.

Thanks again in advance for all your inputs!

Are you still interested in this or did you give it up ? Check your PM.

Plus, what's your plan for the person receiving the QR code ? Where are you expecting them to read this so it will understand the bitcoin address to pay to, as well the amount to pay for ?

I don't know how much you actually know about bitcoin, it would be good to clarify that so people don't try to implement bad ideas.

If anyone else would be interested i'd like to announce that the project has been gladly solved so no more support is needed. Thanks for everyone's contribution.
