I'm wondering if anyone has a good resource to learn more about GPU mining commands and settings. I just got into GPU mining this year and have so much to learn I don't know everything I don't know  Tongue

I'm not looking for the generic plug and play walkthrough. I have already done that and have a rig up and operating. I have watched videos about how to OC and undervolt settings on the cards themselves, and have performed BIOS mods. I would still be open to more info about these as well.

What I would like to do is hone my skills and knowledge in regards to running different miners, playing around with commands and understanding what I'm actually doing.

Thanks in advance for anything you have.

Agreed with tg88, Youtube is a great place to learn. I was a Nvidia guy, and now I am an AMD guy who mines the Crytonight algorithms.

I started a youtube channel and have a couple of tutorial videos out.

One of the in-depth tutorial/configuration videos:

Thanks I have logged a great many hours roaming YouTube. It definitely got me started.

Channel looks nice. I will have a bit of time this weekend I'll try and check out the in-depth video. I've watched a few others hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for.

The build looks interesting as well, let's hear it for the "3 fat white guys" lol.

Given that you mentioned you aren't looking for generic guides and you basically have your rig setup all setup already. You must be looking for advanced features. Consider reading articles about scripting. You could write scripts to monitor your entire rig and automatically calibrate overclock settings depending on temperature or other factors.

Scripts are especially useful if you have AMD VEGA GPUs which are known for instability.

Thanks I'll see what i can find. I'm also trying to find more information on what the extra commands that people put in their batch file mean/do.
