Mining zcoin with single GTX 1080ti 11G on miningpoolhub.com using awesome miner v4.7.4 which uses ccminer 2.2.5 cuda9. OS is Win10pro 64bit with latest patches.

ccminer claims the hashrate of 3200 kH/s in the console.
miningpoolhub shows accepted hashrate in the graphs for Zcoin under 2600 kH/s all the time. with average probably around 2100 kH/s

This discrepancy is huge and it's over a long period (few weeks). any ideas what is wrong?

10-30% differ between mining software, and pool report Hashrate is normal. It because not every hash sending by our mining rigs accepted by the pool, what shown on the pool is only "accepted shares" that produce by our devices over time. Many factors related to this, Network delay, massive OC, etc.

To simplify things, some hashrates on some mining pools will not be the same as on your computer because the pools use shares you submit to estimate the hashrate.

The same thing is true for calculators. You will not always earn the exact amount estimated by calculators as luck and actual share count always plays a factor here.

Give it a longer time period.

Your hashed are based on a relative average and depending what share value the pool has it can vary in the short run.

ZEC was never really exactly 100% of what rate you saw in the pool. But you should get within 10% or so after fees.

Most likely this is variance.

IMHO more then 10% difference sounds too much, 30% is unbelievable.
Could you please elaborate on the difference between "accepted by the pool" and the "accepted" as shown by awesome miner?

I was having another rig with 5x 1080ti and single 1070 on this zcoin pool for most of the april (few weeks). The awesome miner reported 16.5 MH/s while the graphs on MPH showed up to 12.
I don't think this is normal.
Is there anything I could check, e.g. network stability and latency ? I could set up some simple monitoring test over a week to see whether latency is too high or some TCP packets drops happen from time to time. I was calm until now because I saw 100% accepted in awesome miner, but I'm not sure I can trust this indicator anymore.

On your scheme that's normal, after all. My statement refers to your mining scheme. Where's Awesome miner located at the local network same as CC miner, many things will affect as I said above.

Hashrate is the number of hashes that your rigs can run per second. It would be different with Effective Hashrate, effective Hashrate will be calculated from hashes that are actually submitted by our rigs to the mining pool, means not all. Then the value of shares in the pool also will different between miners with powerful hashing power and weak hashing power. So that's normal when local report different with pool report. Because calculation doing on the mining pool side isn't at local.

But
If you believe that something wrong with you mining process, check your connection, it may help you. Or tried to move to other pools.

In other words do you want to say that the hashrate shown by miner is utterly worthless?
Under such conditions the pool fee is whatever the pool desires and miners have actually no way of telling how much it is, regardless of what the pool officially says it is.

Of course no, I didn't say that. The Hashrate showed by a miner shown how much hashes that your rigs can run per second. But while you on pooled mining, many factors will affect (as I say above).

Value of shares between miners with weak and powerful Hashrate will different, and it will be modified by the difficulty assigned. Let's say five (5) shares, it can be one (1) prove-of-work in diff five (5) for miners with powerful Hashrate nor five (5) prove-of-work in diff one  (1) for miners with weak Hashrate, and so on.
