At this point in time I'd ask for a refund and invest into something else...BTC mining isn't looking good and KNC lost their good reputation with how they've been acting lately.

The Titan might be a viable option IF they deliver it relatively on schedule.

does anyone else in the group buy feels that we should consider a refund?
Better miners is being presented NOW by other companies.
For what i am concerned  , with the amount of a share i can get ghs now instead of a june promise (long live Q1)

I'm not part of the group buy but with the latest KNC stunts I'd suggest asking for a refund ASAP and investing into a few gridseed dual miner blades (80 chip, 5.2mh/s, 140w, 3000 usd).
Either that or getting a lot of GTX 750 Ti 2gb cards would be the best choice imho.

If you guys want to get a refund, post it here and state how many shares you have so I don't have to go look it up.  If enough people want a refund, I will look into get it.

I think the Neptunes are going to stall out for a while longer and agree that there are better options out there while difficulty levels go up. I suffered the same thing with the Jupiters. I vote for a refund. I had 3 shares @ BTC1.5

Thanks!

Yeah unfortunately it looks like refund time.

I can use that $1100(2 shares @ $550) on other speculative investments.

Thanks

Didn't KnC always say Q1/Q2?
I don't really see what has changed, so I say keep it.

Read the kncminer thread, they are screwing people over, will probably get delayed further, they are giving them the chance for a refund or a 3th/s franken-miner thing with older tech, which isn't that good of a deal.

Meanwhile they are mining and getting like 500k usd a day, with the pre-order money.
I wouldn't invest in them anymore, they broke their promise (network protection plan), and I seriously doubt they'll deliver Titan miners on schedule (if at all!)

Right now, only asic I'd buy would be the gridseed 5 chip miners, which can be found in stock for 125usd if you look hard enough.

Quote
Jupiter 3TH
The window for conversions has now closed we have had over 400 conversions which means we are actively trying to fill all of the orders we have but we will contact customers individually if they are too far back in the queue to be converted. The good news is that the shipment for these orders will begin Tuesday next week after the Easter holidays and we expect it to take only a few days to have all boxes shipped out to customers.

Neptune Power Requirements
While we will not release the maximum performance of the Neptune miner we can now release the required power supply to give people time to purchase them. The maximum power draw will be 2100w of power and we recommend this to be either two 1200w power supplies or three 850watt power supplies. This does include a bit of a safety margin on our side and of course underclocking will be possible to reduce the power requirements even more.

I don't see why the Jupiter would have been a bad chose since it's the same amount of mining power. Anyhow that's to late now so let's do the refund then... Holding 12 shares. Please get it moving ASAP since most people seems to vote for that.

refund. . . 2 shares. . .

but . . . i expect that i would be refunded for my share of the unit not my buy-in price in BTC.

with btc down vs. US $ i would expect each share to be worth about .66 BTC.

does that make sense?

I've put in a request to get a refund on one unit so far.  The total of all the people who voted equals close to 1 unit.  I will update you guys when I hear back from them.

I expect a refund of $10170 per unit so you will get that amount turned into BTC and then divided by the amount of shares for 1 unit.

Can't give you the BTC amount at the moment as it'll depend on when the refund for that unit gets processed.

Sucks, I kinda wish I had better news on the delivery..
