Afternoon folks. I am aware that using a FPGA to mine for Litecoins (I want to mine for them, rather than Bitcoin) isnt the most effective way currently to do so BUT I have a slightly unusual set-up. I can operate a mining rig but it must be really quiet....I can't have 2 GPU's whirring away with a big fan next to them, I can have a quiet setup with a small fan to circulate air. The setup will be next to a window which can be left cracked open so there will be airflow.
I'd like to pair the FPGA with a Raspberry Pi and would like some advice on how to go about doing this - options for FPGA's would be welcomed. I'm quite happy in Linux but have not worked with FPGA's previously.
This rig will be left to its own devices in a remote location and I'm also wondering if anyone has any advice regarding remote monitoring their mining.
Many thanks
CandlePower (yes, I'm a flashlight fan...!!)
