I am getting my lawyer to sue their them. And it may get their bank account closed if they do not comply. They will have bad credit and no bank will want to deal with them. I even gave them my lawyers details and told them who he is - he is well known - and they still wanna play.

If anyone wants join me to sue them they can. Hit me up. I am now dedicating my time to fucking them in the arse. The dirty scam shit wits.

It probably gonna take a bit longer than that, especially if legal actions are involved.
As a comparison, OP received his money 2.5 months after the transaction completed.

Ouch that's a lot to lose, never had any problems with BTCe but I have heard their support isn't too great.

Not sure if you could reverse the payment?

2 months and no money from BTCe. They are the next gox ppl. At least the lawyer is on it. If you want his contact let me know.
They are now trying to dick the lawyer about but he has ways of making them sort this. Apparently very lawful ways. So my advice. Get a good lawyer and sort it. Otherwise BTC will steal your funds.

Dont say I did not warn you.

What is the excuse they use for not processing your transaction? Or they simply don't respond to your support ticket?

click on 'show ratings', review their trust settings, add yours to the mix. This has been going on for a long time.

They simply dont respond. They make a set of questions - which you answer. They then come up with another question and play games. All they are interested is covering their asses while they rob you. They steal probably 10k GBP every week. Thats good business for them. If 50 people are happy and one guy gets scammed each week, they find it funny. And they must be owned and operated by Mayzus Financial. It looks no other way and then they hide behind Mayzus. As they are currently refusing to give BTCe details without police being involved - when the lawyer is also an officer of the court and crown law system in the UK. They are selective Russian scammers.

Also, the info on COINDESK is wrong. The journalists do such a great job that the FCA number for Mayzus is not even valid. All they have is a payment service FCA number which is not the same as the one advertised on COINDESK article. I think COINDESK are dodgy manipulators too.
Taking back handers.

why do people still trade there ?  Roll Eyes
honestly, imo then you really deserve to lose all your funds
just the same as happened to mtgox...
it's obvious that you just have to stay away there
there are good alternatives!!

I never used them that much. Only to buy LTC and then started using a good alt place from start. But after i got hacked and bitstamp acc was emptied I felt safer on BTCe as I did not lose funds there. Until, contacting support for my safety that is. lol wankers is the word that comes into my mind.

You should not have to constantly guard against some thief or scam artist. We all know fatty mark stole all the coins on mtgox. Or maybe some ghost ate funds from the bank.

But an internal body to self regulate BTC businesses is the answer because the financial authorities are kind of a mafia in all truth - protecting the banking cartel while sweetening people with rhetoric.

I played some buy low/sell high game last year when the btc price hit 1000-1200$.

I wagered +5000$ and got back all of it without a problem. I am sure they will solve your problem. They look serious enough to me.

depending on where you live
but coinbase, bitstamp, kraken, bitcoin.de... Those ones I would trust
Of course that are the legal ones, where you need to prove your identity and address and stuff but it's totally worth it! Don't use btc-e for deposits/withdrawals of fiat money (if a transaction got stuck you have a problem), trading with cryptocurrencies is fine i guess but never let them there but I think that counts for every exchange
always use your own wallet

Thanks, very helpful Smiley I'll check them out and yes, seen the extensive verification process most bitcoin exchange sites seem to have but it's understandable.
