I just witnessed a nice ballet of self-deleted posts on the lending sub here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348233.0

Why would it be a bad idea to lock posts like it's done on auction sub, and prevent people from editing/deleting, there, too?

[OVER] RIDDLES 2nd edition --- this was claimed. Look out for 3rd edition!
I won't ever ask for a loan nor offer any escrow service. If I do, please consider my account as hacked.

Also self moderated threads should not be allowed in the lending section (I believe they are currently allowed).
