Hello,

First time on the forum so I thought I'd post my question straight away. I've recently started mining primecoin using a fair amount of compute power @ ~40 cores. To harness these cores I set up a private pool using the instructions at http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=623.0 -  I have set up my primecoin.conf as follows:

Code:
rpcuser=rpcuser
rpcpassword=<password>
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=8332
server=1

Each pool member is running rdebourbon's jhPrimeminer fork RdBBeta4.0F_x64 as downloadable here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sq24hzo993afy9c/l7icP0KiuM which is running on a mix of Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 64-bit. For each miner in the pool, jhPrimeminer is launched with the following arguments:

Code:
jhPrimeminer.exe -o <primecoin-qt IP>:8332 -u rpcuser -p <password> -m 61 -target 9 -bttarget 9 -xpm <my wallet address>

Here's what the typical output looks like for one of the compute nodes:

Code:
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
11/27/13-08:39:50 - New Block: 277404 - Diff: 9.966147 / 9.966147
Best/Max diff: [ 9.521947 / 6.805153 ]
 6ch/h:   151.19 - 1235 [ 364 / 358 / 513 ]
 7ch/h:    14.32 - 117 [ 41 / 35 / 41 ]
 8ch/h:     1.10 - 9 [ 3 / 4 / 2 ]
 9ch/h:     0.37 - 3 [ 2 / 1 / 0 ]
MNPS:761.61   PPS:79597        WPS:55.980   ACC:1421
Current Primorial: 61 - Sieve Size: 907000 - Prime Count: 32084
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

I have six nodes with similar stats all participating in the pool and I can see network connections to the primecoin-qt server as they are mining - after 48hrs, I still have 0.00 XPM. I've read up quite a bit and judging by the output (almost 80,000 PPS per node! Can this be correct?), I would've expected to have found a block by now. Am I doing something wrong? Am I finding blocks and just not getting them into my wallet, or are they taking a long time to confirm? Are my command line arguments appropriate? I will be happy to tip the person who can help me answer these questions in XPM - assuming the answer helps me get some coin in the first place!

Thanks,

-ch

FYI for anyone interested: looks like I just grossly underestimated the time vs. amount of compute power needed to mine XPM - I did get my first block about 5hrs after posting. I guess the difficulty is just going up with people's interest in this coin. Time for more cores!

Hello,
did you use the same wallet address for all your miners started on different machines?

How can I check the network connections from miners to the server, so I can know that they are connected and working as one?

Thanks!
