For some citizens it is really hard to purchase bitcoins or litecoins For example i live in Turkey and it is almost impossible to instant purchase even if you have the money Wire transfers take long and high fees  |

The price of LTC revolves around BTC, not circulation like BTC. It won't drop anytime soon unless BTC crashes hard. LTC/USD has increased but not LTC/BTC because its not based around circulation like BTC. LTC and BTC are worth something because of two totally different reasons. So if you're a player in the litecoin game, you have to watch the BTC game.

There is some truth to this, but at this nascent point in the cryptocurrency biz, much of it is based on speculation. a lot of the litecoin craze of late is because of the Senate hearing on BTC and the Wall Street Journal article that mentions LTC. But you are probably right in that if BTC crashes, LTC will probably go with it to a certain degree. |

BTC won't be stabilize around $1000, this is just a high point for now. LTC seems to always stabilize its price of LTC/BTC so I believe investing in it could go either way depending on where it lands.

I do think LTC will ultimately crash, LTC really does trade on the back of BTCs strength and at this moment in history there really isn't space for another crypto to get near being mainstream. Purely a speculative gamble but with the rapid growth it's definitely looking good short term. I think you'll see <25 before >31.

NovaCoin seems to be worth something as well. For a long time it was worth more than LTC but its losing its drive it seems. I honestly would go for NVC over LTC but that's just a gut feeling. |

Litecoin has gone up proportionally even faster than BTC over the last couple of days from .015 BTC each to over .02. Given the maximum litecoin can be is .25 BTC you may still have some room to buy. Any forum idiot can point out the price history of a coin, the key challenge is what will happen going forward, and that obviously no one knows. However, it seems that LTC will get more attention as BTC gets more and more out of reach, for example peerbet just added litecoin.

Good point. LTC is still very affordable. We don't know what will ultimately happen with crypto-currencies. I will be investing in LTC as a side bet that has a TON of potential upside. |

I feel really excluded from these good markets... The exchange sites are happy to collect very personal information about you, and that's all. |
