I'm an idiot.

Now that that's out of the way, here's what happened:

I formatted my computer (mac) and reinstalled OSX. And obviously forgot to backup my bitcoin wallet. I managed to recover some wallet, info and key files using data rescue software, but they won't open. They were probably damaged during the reinstallation.

Any tips on how to figure out my private key? I have the encryption password and deposit address to the wallet, don't know if that helps.

Luckily it's not a huge amount of money but still enough that I'd like to get it back.
