Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Amazing, you'd think a country with a rapidly devaluing currency would not only love Bitcoin, but utilize it in the same way most families store away gold for their personal store of wealth. I suppose if I were printing money like they were, I'd be presenting a dim view of Bitcoin as well.
