There are many ways to buy BitCoin online.

If you prefer to do this in person, your best bet may be, http://www.localbitcoins.com/.

Or if you're familiar with IRC, you could join #bitcoin-otc on the Freenode servers.

Hope this helps,
Sammey

hello fellow newb Smiley

i confess my initial interest in bitcoin was due to the silk road, but i've recently discovered all the rest of the cryptocurrencies, trading via BTC-E, and it's lots of fun to be involved in stateless, bankless currencies. i see from the linked chart below that BTC at ten thousand dollars is not a huge stretch of the imagination, so it'll be an interesting ride from here.

Hi Newbie here too !

As far as is got it you have to post at least one time in this Newbie Thread and then wait for 4 hours.
Might be possible that you need more than one post. I read something about 1 post for posting and pm and 2 for putting a link in your signature.
I try to find some more information atm.
