That's why I'll just stick with an established exchange for trading BTC.

Recommended Exchanges: Binance.com | CelsiusNetwork
GPG ID: 4880D85C | 1% Escrow | 8% IPO/ICO Escrow services Temporarily Closed | Bitcointalk is the ONLY place where I use this name (No Skype/IRC/YIM/AIM/etc) | 13CsmTqGNwvFXb7tD9yFvJcEYCDTB8wQTS | Beware of these SCAM sites! | *Sponsored Link

Yea, no reason at all to do anything else. Every other method IS a scam.

I trade a lot on #bitcoin-otc.  Works fine, but always check ident and ratings.  Long time users rated by many (beware of short time users with few and very high ratings by other short time users), can be considered safe.  Be very careful with anyone else.

Sjå https://bitmynt.no for veksling av bitcoin mot norske kroner.  Trygt, billig, raskt og enkelt sidan 2010.
I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

Maybe it would be better if you still share how you got scammed? That would help others be able to pick out the scams more easily.

This thread is old! It's also unclear if he really was scammed or just tried to get someone else in trouble. Look at these two threads:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=35482
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=33455
DiamondPlus states in both threads that he got scammed, but the sellers are not labeled as scammers. It's even said that "DiamondPlus was offering people large sums of money to say that he was an honest trader". In one case both parties never got to the trade (the trade never happend because both parties couldn't agree about the trade conditions) and DiamondPlus started a thread blaming his trade partner as scammer for a trade that never took place.

TIMMY THE BITCOIN SLEUTH

someone else had been posting on my account for over a year; Every post from January 10 2017 to June 18 2018 is NOT ME
Whoever this person was that got access to my account, felt the need to shill something called "bidium" in my signature
very surreal. is this normal? the internet is full of crooks... watch out
