I'm down about 2 grand less then what I started with. However when the price goes to 8ish ill be positive again. Which I'm sure it will some time. I bought back in between 6.60 and 7.

I'm hoping for swings tomorrow. I always seem to work right when all the major action is happening.

I'm not out anything except time... I have a new GPU that's never seen the other side of 80C, I have a few new games to play, and they're all paid for with a minor investment in electricity and I think about 5 months worth of voice service given out... I gave out more than that in sponsorships to kids who asked.

Of course, I didn't stand to really gain anything measurable if it would have blown up to $100 either...

My cash investment is still intact. I'm about 10% down in coins (all mined) on what I had 24 hours ago. The best trading is yet to come tho.

I have a 1200% gain (all from buying coins - no mining at all).  I have sold everything a few weeks ago, but I am still waiting for the real drop with some money on MtGox.

Strangely enough, I never lost, to compensate I missed out on many chances by a hair's breadth. I guess that's what I get for being conservative -- should have traded more, taken one or two rounds losing to get more hits.

Tonight was when I got closest to losing -- it was really late, and I was moving an order SECONDS too late for that 28k unlimited sale, which hit my order quite far up. When I managed to roughly break even, it was 4am, then I slept through the neat rally with way too few coins. But no losses! Smiley

I was pretty negative like 2 weeks ago but after all these recent swings up and down I've done pretty well.

I'm net positive due to some trading and my low costs basis position in bitcoin. Love the momentary selloffs, panic dips are an ideal time to add to the core position I hold.

After the Dow and S&P indexes finish committing suicide, should be a fun month as investors flee the general market.

Bitcoin isn't going anywhere, as long as the internet exists, it will be just fine.

Loss? I long ago pulled out my initial "investment" and now make money with the casino's chips. I can't loose.
It's easy to be profitable here. Just wait for some unqualified rant about the sky falling, buy during the ensuing panic, then sell a week later when the price comes back.
It works again and again. Wink

I have lost about $2-3,000 over the past month. I got in at $14.25 with $10k on its way down.

I pulled out and jumped back in lower a few times. I have pretty much kept my same level of BTC but my dollar value has gone down.

I had gone all in on BTC at $11 last week before everything went in the toilet. Wish I had kept at least half out in cash like I had been doing.

My goal is 1,000 BTC then hold for the long term.

Exactly. Problem is, I can't pull out since it's addictive, the larger your stash grows the more you earn on the swings. I guess I'll be pulling out once my bids start affecting the market significantly, need to stay low to play speculation Smiley
