If airdrop was made to scam people then I would disagree. A lot of people are participating airdrop and as I observed they can earn money from it and there is also a news that some airdrop was made to scam people and it is a big bad news for all newbies because it can discourage them in participating.

Honestly, we don't need more airdrop but in fact, the airdrop hunters don't care about that. They are only joining more and more airdrop without trying to look at the background or even try to do a research to define if it's a good token or not. Airdrop is one of fair distribution as long as it has been running by an honest person.

Depends but I think for the most part airdrops are a pretty good way for ICOs to market themselves in the beginning and attract people quickly.

Personally I don't believe in airdrop any more, alot of them are scam and one need to be careful doing it though this doesn't mean all of then are not real but a handful of them are not legit. So I think we should just stick with the bounty.

Airdrops are neccesary at the beggining because spreading the word about the project is very important, and thus it is one kind of a marketing thing

I think that now too much scam airdrops and if you don't want to spend your time, find good bounty and make signature of it. Practically every day I'm reading about scam in airdrops, check the forum

I don't understand how airdrops could be a scam. Unless they ask you to do certain things in order for your to receive the aridrop, like giving away personal data, or install malicious wallets, then I don't see how they could do you any harm.

Of course that if most ICOs are scams, then most airdrops won't be able to give you any profit as well. So I'm not saying that airdrops are a good investment, and most of them should end up being just a waist of time, but you shouldn't have any problems with them.

Comparing them to bounties though, then I would say that bounties could end up being more risky, since the time invested is greater than the time invested in airdrops, and there are no guaranties that the sell will go well either, so the token you are given could end up with no value as well.

Most airdrops now are giving scammy coins. There are also few airdrops and ICOs that offer airdrops but with value. I dont think that airdrop of a project make it scam. Like for example, ShipChain, they have bounty and airdrop as well but it is not a scam.

Airdrop is a legit way to create a community and to spread a project's new token to a big number of people. But we do not really need more airdrops. What we need are legitimate airdrops. Airdrops that are worth our time and effort. You are right in saying that airdrops are everywhere, and yet the majority of these airdrops are nothing but scams and craps.

I dont like to participate any any airdrop because its reward so low and maximum scam its just like a time waste . so that i always like to join bounty campaign and its reward always better .

Yes, I agree, they are starting to annoy me too. I really don't have time to get through all of them, check tokens and projects and decide on which one I want to do. I believe this needs to stop, because they are spreading like a disease. It would be much better if we would have more quality airdrops than quantity.

That's part of their marketing and it's a way to pay those advertisers.

It's either they really don't have enough money to cover the marketing through bitcoin as an alternative they give reward through their token.

Most of airdrop are Scam but some of the are legit. Airdrop is one strategy of ICO's to get big community its because one of the requirement of some big exchanges you must have big community to be list. So giving token is one reason to become successful.
