I am joining the forum because I have had problems with MtGox.  There seems to be a good deal of people who have similar issues.  Most seem to have been resolved eventually and I am wondering if MtGox read the forum and prioritise those that are posting.  I hope so!  Anyway, it is worth a try.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hello!
I'm new here too but, sadly, as you already realized your complaint about MtGox isn't alone. Far from it...
