BitcoinNotify

Subscribe to Bitcoin payments and prices notifications (HTTP, SMS, e-mail, IM) at BitcoinNotify

Invitation code: HoAR86OQXS

Elevator pitch

Get notifications when:

  • you receive Bitcoins (merchants, miners, donations, etc.)
  • price changes on major exchanges
  • difficulty is adjusted

By:

  • HTTP requests (automation)
  • SMS
  • e-mail
  • IM (Jabber)

Merchants dream came true

BitcoinNotify is the most secure way to accept Bitcoins:

  • payments go directly to your private wallet - trust no 3rd party
  • keep your wallet disconnected from the network so it can never be stollen by hackers
  • there is nothing to install on the server
  • there is no external API to call
  • customer never leaves your store (no 3rd party site involved)
  • receive HTTP updates of the BTC exchange rates

See how to accept Bitcoin payments in your store / application / bussiness.

Accepting Bitcoin payments is now as simple as handling HTTP requests.

BitcoinNotify is not a payment proxy. Instead, we monitor the Bitcoin network in search for payments on predefined addresses.

Pricing

The service is free of charge except SMS notifications which cost 0.01 BTC/SMS. This is commercial, company backed effort.

Limited invitation to the closed beta

Grab the invitation code HoAR86OQXS and sign up at BitcoinNotify before it's too late.

I've just send a small amount to the lucky new user who subscribed to payment notifications. Thanks for testing. Hope to hear from you.

suggestions:

1st on sign-up.. when entering a password, you can show the information about secure password before submitting
2nd on adding a notification the label "free of charge" should be changing right after ticking the sms-checkbox
3rd give me an (optional) input field to label my "notification" like "donations for the blog" or "bike-shop" so that I can see on first glace whats going on.

but apart of these really small things your service is very well done!

how many blockexplorer-servers are there redundant - just in case?

donations to me please send via bitcoin 1vvo1FDwSAwNdLVA1mFkM7v76XPZAAUfb
a good European exchange: bitcoin.de (ref-link)

TransactionRadar.com has an API, and I believe this could be used to help to detect when a race attack for double spending is in progress.

Use of this for sending a subsequent "warning" notification should a double spend attempt be detected would be useful.

BitcoinNotify watched the blockchain and sent notification when payments arrived.  BitcoinReminder will send SMS text messages when the exchange rate moves.  Apples.  Oranges,  No?

As far as I remember, there was also the option to get notifications about price changes, the same functionality bitcoinreminder.com offers.
But if I'm wrong, please excuse my post.
