Clearly some people are foolish enough to believe it. As far as needing your blockchain and Coinbase emails is that they are phishing for info so that they can steal some BTC from some of the people silly enough to us the same password and login.

Assuming 1 BTC = 1045 USD, then 125 BTC = 130600 USD.

Nobody in their right mind would give this sort of money away.
