Coinbase won't verify bank account

I'm trying to verify a bank account to make my first purchase with coinbase.

When I put in the account info (routing number, acct number), it spits out the error: "You've exceeded the maximum number of attempts for today.  Please wait 24 hours and try again."

This has been happening since the first time I tried it and the info is all correct.

They do not accept bank accounts from all countries. That may be the cause of this problem.

I'm in the US so it shouldn't be a problem, thanks though.

Bummer, was hoping this was common or at least someone had an idea.  It's been over 24 hours too since it first said this so not sure it's ever going to go away.
