Globatalent represented at FIFA World Cup 2018
World Cup fever has hit the world and all football fans in every country globally are counting down the days and hours until Russia kick off the tournament against Saudi Arabia.
Globatalent, the Sports blockchain platform that will impact the multi billion sports industry, is delighted to reveal that two of their official supporters will be taking to the pitches to represent their countries at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia.
South Korean wonderkid Seung Woo-Lee and world class Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez have been called up to the final squads of their national teams and will be competing for glory with the hopes of winning the tournament.
Seung Woo-Lee has shocked fans from all over the world by reaching the squad, only one week after making his full debut for his country but his impressive skills and natural ability has made him a contender to start the games for South Korea in Group F against Sweden, Mexico and Germany.
Seung Woo-Lee will appear in his first World Cup and will hope that he and his teammates can emulate the glorious 2002 team who managed to finish in 4th position.
Luis Suarez, another official supporter of Globatalent, is one of his country’s ‘Star Players’ and it was hugely expected that he would take part after another incredible season with FC Barcelona and another La Liga title to his name.
After an impressive season domestically, Suarez will be hoping that he can match his performances internationally and help Uruguay ease past Egypt, Saudi Arabia and hosts Russia to win Group A.
Suarez and his Uruguay teammates will be hoping to bring back the glory of winning the World Cup for his nation, a feat achieved twice – in 1930 and 1950.
