low shares recieved for GPU

I'm mining with a R9 290 which according to cgminer is getting 740khash and a 7950 that is getting 600khash, I went to sleep and after 11h I got 680shares for 290 and 1400shares for 7950.

Why is this?
both have low invalid shares according to guiminer, I think I left a video stream on while sleeping not sure if that has to do with it, the 290 is connected to displays while the 7950 is just mining nothing else.
