hi there,

I wonder if somebody with a bit more experience with BTC-E could help me?

I tried to withdraw a small amount of bitcoins from BTC-E today, but I am not receiving the withdrawal confirmation email to be able to confirm the withdrawal. I have received other emails from BTC-E with no problem.

I've cancelled and re-issued the withdrawal order, plus 'resent' the email from the transactions history tab many times, but still no email and it's 4 hours now.

How long would I normally have to wait, I assumed it would be pretty much instant?

TIA

Ty Marcovaldo, they weren't in my spambox, but it triggered an idea.

I went into browser webmail (haven't seen that for many years) and there the confirmation emails were - a lot of them Cheesy

For anyone else this happens to - I was using Thunderbird with Avast Mailshield, and I now know that Avast will block the confirmation emails from BTC-E. You could turn down your security settings but better to check your email account at source.

You should be careful, otherwise you will lose some important mails in the future Tongue
