I never heard about them but there is a simple rule:
if what you said is true, assume that your coins are now lost

My mistake I just heard that they are working really hard to get the website back up. I also heard they are working hard to get the first batch out. So at this time they are not a scam. I'm sorry if i jump to conclusion. I will update this thread for new info. Thanks.

Where did you hear this exactly? Did you call them up? Why can't they post up video's and pictures of the working boxes?

How did you pay? Sometimes you may be able to get it back from paypal or your credit card if you did not pay in bitcoins.

I was checking all the old links and found the website is sorta down, but the /faqs page is still up? if you go to the FAQ page it renders but its broken but not down, all links are busted for sure. Curious were they attacked and/or DDOS? I mention it because AMT was complaining of similar website problem.

I'm not sure whats going on because I've been in contact with them for months now and they have been great and last week just fell off the radar. I've called and spoke with them early last week and received an email but i've been calling pretty consistently and just getting the receptionist and she's been great, the phone goes to voicemail on weekends and nights when its not open( m-f 9am-6pm)other than that they pick up. I'm hoping that this place comes through and its really just technical difficulties but also noting would surprise me. I've been compiling any info i can get on them since i first had looked into it and these are the 2 emails Ive been in contact with along with 3 names if this helps anyone:

I gave them a call 6:20pm pacific time and the secretary pick up. Sounds like they are still operating. But I couldn't get any answer from her, only thing she told me was Xaio( the person who answer our emails) is at a meeting and cannot come to the phone. She couldn't speak English well so i got nothing.

If any body have any information at all it would be great. Please post. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with the receptionist there and asked to speak to sales or someone that can give us an update and she said they are in a team meeting and asked for my contact info again. I asked about the website and email and this was a different lady cause she didn't know it was down  and seemed pretty confused. I then asked who was the manager or boss and she said Mr. Xiao and thats who i received most of my emails from. I'll call again and see if i can get ahold of anyone and give an update. If anyone else calls leave a post.

Where did you first heard of the site, and the deal?

I have never heard of it, and so I have done a google search and found the following page.

Phoenix Technologies has been flagged as a fraudulent company, we believe that they might not be who they say they are...

Another google seach using the word "Phoenix Technology asic" will give you https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=308670.0

Maybe you should do some google search before making orders next time.

called again today ... they still have a receptionist .... I guess its a good sign ... they didn't disappear yet
I asked for an update on the shipping and she said she will ask someone to call be back ... so I think if they are a scam they would already have disappeared ?? I still have hope ... time will tell ...

I just went through a similar scam, OP situation doesn't look too good. I hope the best for you. Is there anyway you can get a refund? Which method of payment did you used?

Just because they say that doesnt mean they are telling the truth. Make sure you spend a few hours researching companies, and if its new create a new thread and get others opinions.

Well I just called again and keep asking questions and the girl you can tell is super nervous to ay anything but she said they are working on the website to get it back up. In the meantime I've been reporting them to the hong kong cybercrime division, FBI cyber crime, any new agency possible in hopes that someone will take an interest in it. They have been busting these ppl scamming like crazy and can follow the money but I'm confused on how this place is still running? If anyone else knows how to help or how everyone that lost money can do something let us know.

They seemed so great, the best offer. Ordered 9 GH cloud mining. Xiao had been replying to e-mails for more than a month and the last thing he told me is: "It will indeed be very good when the skeptics are proven wrong and people like you are mining with smiling faces." They could be an honest company and along with getting the website back up they could now perhaps also be working on 20nm chips (ASIC Miner's facility in Hong Kong is allegedly waiting for those next generation chips so they're also not operational currently: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=346134.0 you can also contact them and the journalist who has visited their facility in Hong Kong). Otherwise: http://reportfraudsonline.com/phoenix-technologies See these threads too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=308670.0 & https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=365585.new
