This might interest folks out there or might not, I dunno. This is more geared to sci-fi/gamer nuts but hey, everyone can join in.
If you had to choose between living at the colony in Aliens or living in vault 101, which would you choose and why?
Post your answers below.
MY ANSWER: The Aliens colony because of it's structure and location.

I would choose general choices that aren't references to things I don't fully grasp. I know it is Aliens and Fallout we are talking here, but I am not versed in either So I guess my choices are Movies or Video Games. I am going games every time.

Vault 101... just so I could get a Pip-Boy +1 for a pipboy ^.^ I would choose general choices that aren't references to things I don't fully grasp. I know it is Aliens and Fallout we are talking here, but I am not versed in either So I guess my choices are Movies or Video Games. I am going games every time. Both were done architecturally well. You have Vault 101 on one hand, which was built the way it was. To sustain human life. To beat the elements and to last. Then you have Hadley's Hope. The colony that became the center of attention in the alien fiasco that made Lt. Ripley insane. I think I recall jumping more times in Aliens the playing Fallout 3 to be honest but yes.. i pitted a sci-fi movie against a sci-fi game lol.

Which one has more babes? I'm guessing Vault since I don't remember seeing anything female in Aliens apart from scary alien brood mothers and Weaver.

No but if you recall from the directors cut, LV426 was a thriving colony. Something like over 300 families there.

Vault 101 because killing rad scorpions is easier than killing super mutants any day.

True, but I find kiling Xenomorphs in confined spaces with pulse rifles more fun.

I'd rather die in a vault that I could potentially get out of by just killling an over seer then to get locked up in space staggering around like a limp bambi trying to find an escape pod, which you never know if that escape pod has controls or maybe it just shoots in one direction and that direction could very well be the sun.

I'm refering to how the colony was before that whole alien thing went down, but I see where you're coming from. It would be no different if say, a random pack of nightkin decided to pount their way into the vault and kill everyone or that bunch of fiends that killed everyone in that other vault.

That reminds me you could always go into that one vault with the "matrix like" system setup in it... You could have alot more fun in there I think
