how come the http://mtgoxlive.com chart is different to the http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/mtgoxUSD.html chart in terms of market depth...?

I thought Mt Gox Live = Official? http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/7/prweb8656007.htm

Why would they be wrong, and not claiming that the Bitcoincharts one is the wrong one?

I dunno, they just look different. The MtGoxLive chart looks more balanced in terms of market depth. Are they measuring the same thing?

The MtGoxLive.com depth chart can be deceiving because the left side is measured in BTC and the right side is measured in USD.  I prefer bitcoincharts depth because both sides are USD BTC.

Thanks, I thought this was the case  Smiley

I don't understand how the price of BTC is "relatively" stable despite the overwhelming number of sell orders... are most people putting up sell orders and then deciding against it??
