Hello, like I had asked everyone else, what do you do in goldentowns? I signed up and it looks like one of those MMO town building games. I hear that you can make money on it but I do not see how. I see that there is government and wars that looks pretty cool, but can someone please explain the basics to me? I would be very active
Once you are earning enough resources, you can build 'gold mines' to mine in-game gold with. This in-game currency is (supposedly) backed by a fixed amount of real gold. You can exchange your in-game gold for real gold, or trade it with other players for cash, or BTC.
There are other ways to warn money with it, but the main way is by selling your mined gold to other players. You can also used mined or purchased in-game gold to speed up production processes, or buying 'energy.' The game is, by design, very slow moving. This is to encourage you to spend your real money to speed the game up, which is one of the ways the game-owners make money. I do not advocate this, as the owners have abandoned a few previous clones of this game (Cashtowns). Rather, just take your time and see what you can get for free.
