Reason is I'm universalizing my identity everywhere and this name conflicts with that identity. Everywhere else(other online forums for example) I go by "naer". One syllable. I would like to post as this. Thank you! Keep up the good work

Why not ask admins to rename your account(assuming that's possible/allowed)? You might lose trust as any previous trust posts would be mentioning your old username but that would be about it.

Totally agree
You should be able to rename accounts here but have a permanent user Id so there are no scam avoiders but people can change there name
because they were clueless before ( had no Idea what the forum was about )
