I had spoken with Mark Vernon, founder and CEO of Tagbond, about getting these cards over here in the states for people to get their hands on.  Long story short, here is the first release of 100 of these official Tagbond RFID cards in the US.  These were mailed direct from Tagbond HQ in Makati, Philippines, to me, for distribution in North America.  While I would prefer to keep these in the US because of shipping purposes, I will be offering these to other countries for slightly more to cover the shipping.  Now down to brass tax:

Cost:

The cards are 2.5TAG per card in the US, and 3.5TAG elsewhere.  This includes shipping.  If the price of TAG jumps dramatically, I will adjust the price.  Payment in TAG only.

Shipping info:

If sales are slow, I will ship ASAP.  If I get a bunch of orders all week, I will put together all the orders for the week on Friday, and ship them out on Saturday.  To keep the cost down shipping will be done via first class mail.  It would cost more than the price of the card to ship by any other method.  Because of this, I can't provide tracking information(USPS will only offer tracking on parcels shipped first class).  Shipping takes about a week.  For instance, shipping from my home in California to my parents in NY has a service commitment time(the time USPS says they will take to deliver) of about 6 days.  International orders will take slightly longer.

How to order:

Calculate your payment amount for the number of cards you would like to purchase.  Send your payment to the following Tagcoin address:

When you submit your order form, please reply to this thread with the number of cards you ordered and the transaction ID#.  I will update the quantities and verify the orders daily.  If I run out of cards and you order before I update the thread quantity, I can either refund your order, or put you on a waiting list for the next shipment.  I will contact you via PM if this happens.

How do these work? Do I have to have my own card scanner at home to loda them up? Does each card come preset with some TAG like BTC physical coins do?

The Tagbond cards are RFID cards that you can link to your Tagbond ID using the free apps that we provide on the website - They can be used for payments, entry ID, communities can add you to their rewards programs, and a lot more. Not just for TAG but for any currency we add into the Tagbond and Tagcash system

Tagbond also make Tagbands, which are Silicon RFID bracelets in 10 different colors that perform the same task. If there is interest in these, ask ny2cafuse and he can handle orders etc.

As for pre loading with TAG, there is nothing on the cards or bands, they just link to your account online to make it easier to identify charge and tag each other via Android NFC phones. I am sure if you pay more in cash or BTC, ny2cafuse can add some TAG on your account for you.
