listening now, but it seems like peter schiff doesn't know enough about bitcoin to beat anyone at a debate. im guessing he's saying something that an old thinker would.

Thats why hes a fool. When you dont know something then dont comments. However, he opens his mouth and argues like he KNOWS its a ponzi scheme. He even makes a youtube video "What is Bitcoin?"

Here is what a smart OLD thinker does

Warren Buffet: I dont know.... either Gates or Munger is right.

Yeah Buffet is alot older than Schiff. But you can see why one is a billionaire and one is not.

yeah, the smart thing to say, if you do'nt know about bitcoin, is "i don't know" rather than "i don't know anything about bitcoin, but it's a horrible idea." it's like he's established his position, and every point he makes from thereon will be to support it.

im 10 mins in, and he's already been shot down with his scarcity argument and the "bitcoin is too volatile for businesses to accept them." how is this guy well known anyways?

Well ,being the captain of the gold-bug ship, he is expected to know everything, he can't make himself looking like a fool, poor Peter... Wink

I feel sorry for Peter, i learned so much from this guy back then... but several of his arguments today were plain ridiculous... "Ponzi", "pyramid", c'mon man!

Yet again the tired old "empty suit" voorhees has vaulted up to the stage, just to remind us he still exists. Look Erik, nobody really cares if you debate some tired old goldbug. What is your encore, punching fish in a barrel? It doesn't take a lot of skill, hell, I've probably dispatched more Bitcoin trolls than you have in your entire gambling-glorified career.

Maybe just stay in Panama and enjoy the papusas, pendejo.
