What is insecure or centralized about bitcoin as of date?

"India is the guru of the nations, the physician of the human soul in its profounder maladies; she is destined once more to remould the life of the world and restore the peace of the human spirit.
But Swaraj is the necessary condition of her work and before she can do the work, she must fulfil the condition."

If somebody made an aweful investment on an alt coin, lets say quarkcoins, then bitcoin does become insecure and centralized..  Grin

You people should quit talking crap if you don't know anything about any coin.
Not talking about QRK, I'm talking generally.

BTC was preminer too, so what? Where's the harm? No saying that QRK was or wasn't premined, I'll let you judge by yourself and get butthurt in 1-2 weeks when QRK's price hits 1 dollar.

Those were my 2 QRKcents

I guess that there is a bit of hostility towards alt-coins due to the barrage that came through last year.

My understanding is that short term there is significant interest in Quarks and you might profit. Medium to long term its going to be a dud. So if you hold it too long it could be worthless. I would tread carefully if I were a Quark investor.
