Hi Folks,

Without a prejudice for a certain coin or hash (Scrypt etc) what would be the best use of funds for investing in mining.  I would like to know what hardware would have the highest chance of paying for itself the quickest assuming current coin price trends.

Power consumption is not a consideration for me.

I am prepared to spend between 5k - 10k US.

Thanks in advance for your valuable input.

Regards!

I've found the most profitable machine has been my laptop, cause I used it to buy coins  Grin

But since we're talking mining, KNC is the current leader. They are all sold out, however they are planning another preorder for their batch 2 of Neptune 3TH units, rumored to be $12,500 each

As far as getting something now, it's a pretty expensive market, I'd still recommend the KNC Jupiter if you can find one for around 12BTC

13K for 550 GH/s when Neptune 3TH/s is ~12K. Something is a little off.

That's the first batch, which has already sold out, no word as to when batch 2 would ship.

KnC is the king of the West!

Bitmain AntMiner could be the King of the EAST...

Right now, the group buy immediate ship price is BTC 4.25 per unit (180GH)

So, 3 x AntMiner (480GH/S) = BTC 12.75

If you need more kick right now, then 4 x AntMiner (720GH/S) = BTC 17

Here is the group by thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353650.0

I think it will use more electricity than KnC but, if you are looking for something to mine BTC immediately, this is one of the options.
