So there are several reports here on the forum about selling BCs and having problems with actually being paid out. As much as I like BC, this indeed sounds like a ponzi scheme, and for BC to be a serious investment, transfering back your currency at any time in any amount is a MUST.

To everybody who tried transfering back: Did it work or not, how long did it take, which problems did you run into and how large was the amount?

I haven't bought any yet and thus have never tried to transfer back.

The answers to your question depends on which exchange you are trading at. Problems with exchanges are not problems with bitcoin itself.

I think you're missing the point of what actually Bitcoins is.

@pollsteer23, @maurya78: Good points, that made the whole thing a bit clearer for me. But are there exchanges without any problems?

@niothor: Apparently that sounded to you like "BC is a ponzi scheme", but that was not what I was saying. I believe in it to a certain degree and will invest a bit.

I used a Dutch site which deposits it straight to your bank account. It worked great!

1. It's BTC or XBT, not BC. BC is already taken, by "Before Christ" era denomination.
2. Yes, transferring out works of course. But you have to remember - this is a wild west territory, nobody is holding your hand, nobody will save your funds if something goes wrong, police would consider you crazy, you are 100% responsible for security of your funds and trust in any services that you use. Do research.
