If I had 5 btc (which I don't, but if I did) I would put it to work for me. I'd buy 60+ GH/s over at CEX and put it to work for me for a year. Then I'd sell the GH/s and cash out w/ the proceeds + the coinage mined over the course of that year.

That's what I'd do.

As it is I only have 6 GH/s.

I think a huge stumbling block for bitcoin now is that it is pretty much impossible to invest any of it without converting it to USD. I think that it would be awesome for legit bitcoin investment avenues to emerge, but it would involve spending alot of USD first.
