Hi,

I have a problem (like lots of people here), since I changed my phone (this is the 3d one) and I cannot synchronized from the previous saving. I my problem is « simple » (or not really) I cannot find the old bitcoin application I have. I think I have like 1/3 of 1 btc 😅 but still..
Therefore, I have my private keys and my email. Is that help?
But don’t know how Can I get my btc back...
I tried to contact few people I knew that started the BTC startup in Switzerland.
But they cannot help me.. and other that tried to help me tried also to steal my infos.. (wtf..)
Someone (honest) can help me please?

Regards

I have my private keys

if you truly have your private keys then you don't have to worry about anything. simply install any wallet that allows you to import private keys and you will have your bitcoins back.
i suggest Electrum. here is a guide: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#can-i-import-private-keys-from-other-bitcoin-clients

If your backup private key starts with 5, K or L, the chance that it's a real private key is high.
Recovering your bitcoins will be as easy as logging in an account.

Warning: Do not trust anyone (PM) who's asking for the private keys, you must do it yourself.

What app did you use to store your bitcoins?

If I am right you said you have email and private keys so it might be blockchain.info wallet. But it is just easy you can download thw app again in new mobile where you just login and your bitcoins will be there.

Or else as others said you can impost them into another wallet,I am also suggest you to do it in electrum because it is very easy just enter the keys and log in and your can see your funds there.

The best way is to use the same wallet you used before. Just go to that wallet, inside your private key and recover your funds. And then send them to a better wallet, like electrum, ledger nano, etc...

If you have access to your private keys you can easily import them into any other wallet.
As pooya87 already mentioned, electrum is a good one to start with for your desktop pc.

You can visit https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet to find a suitable wallet for your preferences / device.

Chances may be high that you had an online wallet and now have some sort of a 'backup seed' (private keys start with 5.., K and L?
Did you register yourself with your email anywhere to store bitcoins? You might try to search the inbox of your mail account for 'bitcoin'.

Or do you have a backup file? If this is the case: How is it named? Does it have a file extension? What OS did you use?

If you have your private key, just install Electrum and:

  • Accept default name for wallet
  • Tick "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys"
  • Paste your private key in the next form that appears, if it's valid you can click "Next"
  • Your 'new' wallet should synchronize in a few second. If you have coins, I suggest transferring them to your current main wallet

P.S. Don't use "sweep private key(s)" unless you intend to use a fresh installation of Electrum as your main wallet.

Just like what others saying on here or suggesting as long you do have your privatekeys of such wallet then anytime you can import that one and recover that wallet once again. Good thing that you didnt give out your informations into other people.lol. They are just trying to rob you out once they would know your keys. When it comes to reliable wallet. Electrum would always be my best choice. Same as suggested above and precise steps and links been provided above.Hope it would help you out and also if you got the answer and you do already recover your wallet then better to lock this thread.

P.S. Don't use "sweep private key(s)" unless you intend to use a fresh installation of Electrum as your main wallet.

Perhaps he should, because the privkeys could been kept on an insecure environment. Plus, he can take advantage of segwit if sweeps them.

Thanks for reading my post.

Quite right, what's the problem if there are private keys?
Download the purse that you have installed, enter the key and you will again have your 1/3 bitcoin.
And never and do not tell anyone your private key, it is fraught with the loss of all Satoshi

I agree with the previous comments. Take your wallet and enter your keys.
And it is important - do not look for honest people who can help you with crypto currency. Now it's such a time that the most enterprising people can dig a hole for you.

As others have said if you just restore or import your private keys to the official wallet you will be good to go (once everything is synced).
I know it's a pain but don't risk those 3rd party wallets.  So many users have been scammed by getting the wrong/fake wallet from very good copycat sites and lost their coins.

Just use Ubuntu Linux and install Bitcoin from their trusted repos to be as safe as possible.

I also have the same problem like you. I try so many ways to find my BTC but it seems that there is no hope.

'Same' differs pretty much on this forum.

You might consider to open a thread containing all relevant information. This would include a detailed description about your dilemma and all the hardware/software you have used.
The name of the wallet, your OS, which kind of backup you have created (if you have created one at all).

If your problem basically is this:

  • You had a wallet on your mobile
  • You don't have access to your mobile (or a backup of your mobile)
  • You don't have any kind of backup of your wallet

Then your BTC's are lost. But if you do have any sort of additional information/backup you do can restore them.
