Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I thought that was taken care of?

He took medical leave a month ago. In 2009 he took a 6-month medical leave.

He's been having health issues for years but, assuming the news is somewhat accurate, he might die this time, quite soon.

Wow, this seems kind of sudden. Then again, Jobs does like to cover up his health issues like any public figure would.

Could be a false source though

C'mon, this is from the National Enquirer. Not the most reputable source of factual news... I for one am not going to give much credence to this at the moment!

They were actually in the running for a Pulitzer in investigative reporting last year. They can be surprisingly accurate. They're a tabloid, yes, but it's not like it can be denied that Jobs is sick. And the NE got it right when they said Swayze was being treated for cancer at the same center that Jobs is now at.

(But I wouldn't bet a large amount of BTC on this)
