But the biggest part of money is renting a room for a conference. To collect a large number of people in one place (rent, payment of electricity)

In China ，a lot of conference will give a very high price for tickets，but if you are woking in blockchian industry ，you may get the free tickets from friends，and lots of conferences hosts will send lots of tickets to partners or sponsers for relationship

Just a question how come tickets for conferences are so "sell your kidney" prices.
I know there are tonnes of speakers that you have to pay for etc.
but conferences are meant for learning of crypto, how would that be attractive to the average person etc?
