Intro-derp-tion

So if the post has to be substantial, here's a little something.

I first heard about Bitcoin on Slashdot when it launched in 2009. Downloaded the client. Had no idea what to do and didn't pursue the matter farther. I think I might have tapped a faucet but that's it. I wasn't aware mining required an extra tool so the sparse UI left me wondering what next.

Fast forward to today and I could kick myself in the ass up and down the street, thinking of the missed opportunity.

Has anyone else been there back at the beginning and not taken advantage of it when you could have?
