Getting seriously irritated with CampBX and all the ass-tastic amount of downtime.

Looking at Mt.Gox as an alternative.   Not US-based, which is a bummer. And the transaction fee for International transfer is a lot higher than the CampBX fee. But the higher sell price makes up for that.

What are people's experience with the amount of time it currently takes to sell a BTC, initiate a withdrawal in USD, and have it show up in your US bank account?

Hi and welcome, you must be new here.

Mtgox is slow as shit, the reason the price is higher is the market are pricing in a risk factor for trading there see this 134page thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179586.0 where people are waiting 3+months with no end in sight for their money. Don't go to Gox.

Bitstamp is the best but they're currently getting smashed in volume and deposits are taking ages now too.
