Now is very hard to solo now, better go with a pool. With 5MH/s you can mine 9k BSS per day, but the diff is going to double soon.

Of course you can mine solo but it's not profitable as using pool now as the diff is high. Better go with a pool, my 2 cents.

Is mining in QT, good enough or there's a major difference?

Pool appears dead. Got all kinds of shares but no coins for hours.

Edit: All fixed, it just wasnt recording data for the front end, no coins were lost.

Temporary bad luck?  I'm getting blocks with no problem.  Though, the bosscoin.org and bosscointalk.org sites are temporarily down -- being moved to a data center that works, hopefully... perhaps related.  Keep tuned.

I can't get cgminer working… I'm using 3.7.0 version but it doesn't work! My command line is:

cgminer -- scrypt -o stratum+tcp://bosspool.no-ip.biz:3333 -u user -p pass

Anyone can help me please?

With another specific miner for Quarkcoin I get about 25 khas/s in a i5 of 4 threads, but this is very low, mining Quarks I get about 400 khas/s

It doesn't detect my GPU, but I'm running no-gpu version and I supose these is not necessary.

Try mining with boss.altminers.com instead... I believe it's the same pool operator.  Let me know if you still have troubles.

Could be a driver graphic problem? I have installed AMD SDK, but I get the message: No devices found at start.

And my khas/s is a 0.0

the latest version of CGminer doesn't support GPUs anymore as stated in the changelogs and confirmed by the Developper of Cgminer:
Quote
I've finally bitten the bullet and killed off GPU mining from the code

Try to go with an older versio nof CGMiner. I personally use 2.11.4

Try it out on our pool after that @ http://bss.altminers.com

Bosscointalk is down Sad.

Also, i'm still looking to buy a few thousand coins as my computer only runs at 250kh/s which is really slow compared to other computers, and i'm using it most of the time so I can only mine at night. Only managed to get 100 coins so far. I will only buy at a fair price though, many people are overvaluing this new currency and trying to rip people off.
