Little bug at mining

Sup guys. So I'm setting up my stuff to start minig bitcoins but the GUIminer just don't mine. I've already made my account + worker at slush's pool (and some other pools). When i'm in gui miner, I try to mine but it just don't go. First was because I haven't no openCL, but then, i've installed the openCL driver, and the GUIminer detected it. Even so, it just doesn't mine. When I click to start mining, it shows something like "setting difficulty" and then it just stops and stay there doing nothing. What is the problem??
