Take it you missed the part where I said I was selling one cent coin with as a bonus bitcoin a physical item which was tracked and Ebay/PP still screwed me helping the scammers get their ill-gotten goods...

No I read it... I also was looking for your answers to the question aimed to you:

Quote
Did you shipped the one cent and provide the tracking number? When Paypal raised the claim, you can just provide tracking number and shipping information. How did it went?

I have had negative feedback left by people who tried to scam me while selling a tangible item, but, since I follow the "seller protection" requirements I have never had a charge-back occur.

So, for the sake of the OP... why not answer? Cheesy

I have already answered it a couple of times including in the post you quote can you not read, once these scammers said their account was hacked it is game over they only denied one charge back against me in probably a dozen filed. Anyways I have warned the OP what to expect good luck to him and from experience at it he is damn well going to need it.

I re-read, saw nothing about if you followed the seller protection requirements. I had one customer claim their account was hacked and was paid (I got my money and I assume the "hacked" account got their money back as well as they didn't leave any negative feedback for me Wink ). The trick with ebay is to follow the seller protection requirements to a T (only allow paypal verified, tracking number, etc)...  that way you are protected just like the buyer is protected (ebay eats the loss).

Well, sorry you had such a bad experience.
If you think scamming a physical item shipped with tracking is that profitable, then may be you can try buying an iPhone or brick of gold on ebay and then say your account got stolen?  Cheesy

I only got scammed once, because I was too lazy to ship a physical mail so I would have a tracking number. On the phone, Paypal said if I had tracking number, they could put me under Seller protection... at least that's what they said.
